1976 Yamaha XT500 with only 5. 49 miles. We took this on a trade and it had been sitting since 2004. I just lubricated the cylinder. cleaned the carb. installed a new battery. put new oil in it and it started right up. It generally starts the first or second kick runs good but it has a dead spot between 2000-3500 RPM. This might go away if it is just driven a little bit. The lights aren't working but it could be as simple as a fuse? All of the gauges work except the trip meter knob is broken. Brakes and shifts as it should. chain and sprockets look good. It looks like one of the previous owners had done some welding on the silencer. The gas tank has the original paint but has 2 small dents which are pictured.
