2001 YAMAHA YZ 250F - 2 STROKE RACE BIKE - FULLY REBUILT & UPGRADED FOR RACING PURPOSES !!!!!!Up for sale is a fully rebuilt & race ready 2001 Yamaha YZ 250F - 2 stroke. Our nephew said he bought this bike at an auction 2 years ago. and fully tore the bike apart to fully rebuild it. His best friend's son was going to purchase & race this bike. but unfortunately that never happened. Our nephew said he tore the bike down to the frame to have it freshly powder coated. While the frame was being powder coated. he fully rebuilt the engine's top & bottom end. He said he used Weisco pistons for the top end. and new crank. rod & bearings on the bottom end. He rebuilt the carb & also installed new reeds. He replaced the factory exhaust with a new FMF fatty race exhaust pipe. and rebuilt the front & rear suspension as well. He installed new front & rear brakes also. He said the bike already had new Pro Taper handlebars & shorty levers as well. Lastly he installed new Excel rims & new Dunlop tires on it. After he put everything back together. he then installed a new Factory Effex race graphics set with new fork skins & seat cover. This bike has been fully gone thru. rebuilt & upgraded for racing purposes. He said he has spent way over the asking price on new parts & powder coating alone - not even including his labor time to accomplish all of this. His friend's son no longer can afford to race - so he said he needs to now sell this bike as he has too much money invested into this 1 bike alone. He has a few other dirt bikes that we will be also listing for sale for him. as he is cleaning out some of his inventory bikes now for upcoming projects. This bike is also being listed in other sales venues. so we reserve the right to end this auction process early if the bike sells elsewhere 1st. Bike is being sold as-is and comes with no said warranty. Bike has been listed as fair & honest as possible. The bike is being sold with a clean CA title. A $500 deposit is due within 24 hours after the end of the auction. and can be paid directly thru Paypal. The remainding balance is to be paid 3 days after payment of deposit is made. and can be paid thru Paypal or bank cashier's check. Bike will not be able to be picked up prior to full payment being made 1st. Shipping is available for any out-of-state buyers. but shipping arrangements & shipping fees are solely the buyer's responsibility.
