Multiple upgrades including: Front suspension off a 1990s Yamaha FZR600 for a much stiffer. sportier ride Steel braided brake lines Brand new clip on handlebars Brand new adjustable levers and new clutch cable Brand new mirrors Chrome throttle sleeve and brand new grips Brand new handlebar controls Digital tach. original manual speedo Custom built 3-into-3 straight pipes. titanium wrapped. with 8" baffles One of a kind NOS Energy Drink air pods with UNI foam filter Rejetted carbs for new intake and exhaust Brand new high performance automotive coils (45kV+ compared to 15kV for motorcycle performance coils). new 7 mm copper cored wires. and new NGK iridium plugs Manual petcocks (these XS models had notorious failures of vacuum petcocks resulting in flooding the motor) Fiberglass seat pan with Neoprene seat Brand new sealed AGM battery LED brake/tail light with integrated license plate Original front turn signals. sport bike style rear turn signals Completely rewired from scratch to remove all unnecessary components Removed ignition switch. in favor of a small kill switch below the seat. There is a neutral light wired up. but the current neutral switch is burned out. and I am working on replacing it. I will delete this line when I get around to replacing it. Or. keep it without a neutral light. New tires. The current tires have a decent amount of tread on them. but are fairly old.
