Shortly after our mechanic was let go and it went on the back burner. The truck has been in storage ever since. We have test driven the truck and made sure to be completely honest with this listing. Everything we know of is listed below:**The Bad: This 2006 Chevrolet 2500HD would be an excellent project with a very solid body and frame. However the below listed are the known issues at this time. 1. ) Exhaust manifolds are leaking and loud upon cold start & driving - Will need to be fixed 2. ) Brake Booster is seeping and causing very soft brakes. It does stop. but will need attention. Service or replace booster. 3. ) CEL is on due to exhaust manifold leak4. ) Small tear in drivers side seat bottom5. ) Small crack in passenger side front windshield from stone chip expanding6. ) High miles. 265. xx but the motor still pulls VERY strong and everything else works great7. ) Tailgate hinge is loose and will need to be adjusted.
