Up for auction, y prized 1960 IH Metro Van with the sought after short round body style. Runs perfect, omplete new Brake system. They rarely come p for sale this clean-- I have too many of these and need to sell a few-- all the hard work is done, he's ready for head turning in your town!comes with a nice aftermarket seat, r the original, our choice (not shown in pictures)she even comes with the hubcaps and new tires!manual 4 on the floor with original 220 straight six that i personally have driven across the Mojave desert in summertime-- was driving her back to Texas from California when the brakes got squishy so I left her in Las Vegas to get a complete brake system overhaul.the last Metro in this shape sold for $37500 on Ebay. This Metro was professionally restored in San Diego.Clean Texas title-- As stated i have several and this is as good as they get without spending 60k on a full restoration-- so You'd be saving lot of money!Vehicle is an antique and as sold as is with no expressed warranty. Feel free to ask questions, verything but a few of the gauges in full working order.$500 deposit required immediately after auction via paypal.Vehicle listed elsewhere and I reserve the right to pull item from Ebay at any time.Thank you for looking-- sure would make a great Christmas gift!
UPDATE#1 -- had some requests for any pics of rust and undercarriage-- these are the very few spots of light rust on the van, ts 99% rust free, s you can see the undercarriage has some dirt build up, ut its not a leaking van so it doesn't have all the heavy oil build up you would normally see. Also took some shots of the rims and tires-- These are commercial grade tires that hold air tightly and those rims are SOLID AND NOT SPLIT RIMS--thats a pretty big deal because they have the unusual 6x7.25 bolt on pattern and you can take them anywhere to get worked on unlike the split rims that no one wants to touch.
if you have any more questions please ask-- This really is a great van and as I always say-- " you can spend a few K on a beat up rust bucket and then spend tens of thousands more in agony to restore it, r you can just spend more the first time and be done with it"
UPDATE#2 : Buyer will receive an awesome van tshirt as shown in last pic :-) and the HORN-- the horn is a firetruck horn as this van was once used by by fireman-- pretty cool. also the floor is rhino-lined and the indicators, ights and windshield wipers are updated and functional. thank you!
UPDATE#3: Model is 1960 AM122 and is approx. 17' long. -- i do have other modals including a stellar candidate for food truck conversion if thats what someone is looking for, also have the shortest body version with a round back available; and another of this same body style in very strong condition, ust not finished out like the orange crush.
