Description

Offered for sale is a solid example of a 1969 Jaguar E-Type 2+2. This Jag is an extremely roadworthy driving car, ith a 4.2L in-line six cylinder engine and four speed manual transmission. This vehicle runs, rives, nd stops splendidly with no known driving defects. The car not only boasts matching engine numbers and a restoration from the early 2000s, ut also has been religiously garaged when it was not driven. This Jaguar E-Type 2+2 has a lustrous coat of Regency Red paint paired with original black leather seats. All glass, ire rims, hrome, eather and paint are in great shape, howing only minimum wear and defects. This is a car that has never left me stranded and I am not afraid to take it on any trip, egardless of distance. Comes fitted with a fiberglass covered headlight hood that is atypical of the Series II cars but, n my opinion, s more aesthetically pleasing. Additional benefits of this 'aftermarket racing performancemodification’ is the fiberglass hood is much lighter in weight than the original steel. Forcosmetic enhancement, his car has been fitted with non-ribbed aluminum cam covers that are more reminiscent of the Series I cars. Also included in the sale are the correct ribbed cam covers if thebuyer desires them. This car has no known rust or mechanical issues and absolutely turns heads anywhere it is taken. Electrically, he horn is intermittent and I have not fitted a radio because I could not decide on what I wanted... I just used to listen to the hum of the engine anyway. The paint and chrome are all in great shape showing minimal wear in only a few places.
I have attempted to be fair and honest in my assessment and cover as much information as possible in my description. If you have any questions please feel free to ask them on eBay or email: lowezj2776@icloud.com
Best wishes and happy bidding!
