1987 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Footbrake Drag Car.
10 pt cage, 85 cu.in SBC, 3:1 comp., rodix heads 227cc, orted, edman Hussler headers, -7/8" primary tubes, -1/2" collectors, -wide collector for better ground clearance (see photos), -7 swap roller cam, owder coated Victor Jr., Holley HP 750 DP.
TH-350, 000 stall, " Rear, pool w/ 4.56 gears.
Aluminum radiator, SD Pro-Billet, AL, ew Torque Arm, 10.5 x 29.5 x 15 Mickey Thompsons, enterlines.
Engine is fresh from McMurtry's Racing Engines in Saucier Ms., as not been run yet.
The car has a few dings, nd to be perfect could use a paint job. There are some areas on the roof where the previous owner used to set the hood and the paint was scraped off or chipped. I have sanded, rimered and touched up the paint. The rubber ground effects at the very front driver's side is dinged up also.
Have title, ut have never put it in my name.
This is a race car, ot a street car.
