Citroen CXA Prestige (Limo) NO RESERVE!!!

Up for sale is the 1987 Citroen CXA VIN 1C9CT2154HH291108 with only 68K miles at NO RESERVE!!! This car was imported and sold through CXA by Crystal Motors in Nyack NY and modified to meet U.S.D.O.T. standards. There are not many examples to be found in the US and this was the top of the line model for the time. The extended wheelbase made it suitable for limousine use and was a favorite among French Diplomats. The cavernous rear seat and living room like interior makes for a quiet soft ride yet responsive and driver friendly. This car was registered and driven in NY through 1994 at which time it was stored until we purchased it in 2013. Much work, $ and time was put into mechanically refurbishing the car and bringing it out of a long rest. Runs and drives fantastic. No leaks, = level hydraulics perform as they should. Loaded with all options including leather interior with burlwood accents on the door panels, BS and all the toys/conveniences you'd expect on a luxury car. Super clean no stains in the carpet, oor panels and dash are excellent and the leather seats are soft and supple with only minor wear on the drivers seat bolster.
There is a legion of Citroen fans and support network for parts etc. and always a willing hand to help. We had 3 different models including a BX, CV and the one you see here and are happy to refer buyer to known resources. We are only selling as the owner is now traveling internationally for work and no longer has the time to devote to or enjoy the car. The headliner is sagging in areas and has some torn spots. The drivers rear window needs a new motor. The A/C needs attention though the compressor is new. The sunroof needs tinkering (we haven't tried to open it) and the fuel gauge is temperamental and flickers (dirty connection or sending unit?). General servicing including an oil change and tuneup are suggested though runs great presently. Front plastic bumper was damaged on both sides when offloading from a car carrier and should be replaced but presentable as is.
Body is rust free with original paint and freshly detailed looks amazing!
