1964 Mustang. mostly original. This car had the eng rebuilt 35 years ago & then sat in a garage waiting for the owner to restore. The owner is no longer with us. The car did not run when I got it & brake pedal went to floor. Now new brakes. drums. wheel cylinders & hoses. front. New wheel cylinders & brake lines & hose. rear. Rear brakes cleaned up. New master cyl. Brake lines flushed out. New gas tank & sender. new fuel pump. New rubber hoses in fuel line. Fuel line flushed & blown out. New carburetor. I have the original (was flooding). New idler bracket & pulley for A/C (left off when eng rebuilt) (no belt) A/C pulley scrapes like rust behind it (not bad) that's why no belt. New front tires. Eng runs good. no smoke. no knocks. Still has the generator. Still has the original smaller trans shifter. 1965 Ford went to a bigger shift handle. I have the receipt from 35 years ago for eng rebuild. The AM radio works. I broke the antenna putting the car cover on. The bad - rust. see pictures. The transmission works good as shown in the video. but when sitting a month the torque converter drains into the pan. filling the pan over the dip stick tube & leaks. I drove the car about 50 miles to NY & back. Heater core leaks & is bypassed. Looks like body rails under front floors have been repaired years ago (caps over rails) or original. not sure. . No rust in floors. That's all I can think of now. ask questions. Video of car running - https://youtu. be/kjl5FRbdOoA
