Description |
---|
1978 CJ7 Golden Eagle. This is an original Golden Eagle, ot a base with a sticker thrown on, ut actually has the clock and tachometer, tc.
Originally from a seller down in southern CA who restored it (rebuilt engine, aint, nterior, tc.). It has a Holley fuel injection conversion kit ($1,400 plus labor) which switched it from carbureted to electronic fuel injection and has original spec'd exhaust components to comply with California smog restrictions(for an additional $2,000). This car has passed and has a valid smog check certificate.
It is a 304ci V8 with 3 spd manual. Starts easily, uns smooth. The Holley kit gives it a little more power too.
Odometer shows 94K miles, ut unknown actual and doesn't really matter much since the engine has been rebuilt.
32x11.5 BFG AT's with atleast 75% tread, ee pictures.
Interior is like new as itreceived new seats, arpet, tc. when restored and hasn't been driven much, weekend car. Again see pics.
This Jeep is priced less than what it would take to do this yourself or for sale on ebay already done. Finding a Golden Eagle that probably has some rust or the interior is beat up would cost $8K. Add the Holley kit for well over $2K to pay someone to install (it's not bolt on), aint, nterior, ngine rebuild and you'd be probably at $15-20K. That's why you'll see these sell for $25-$30K when restored well and just finished and still like new.
Please perform all inspections and test drives prior to winning the auction. I can show the Jeep this weekend. On Jun-12-15 at 23:55:09 PDT, eller added the following information:

Update: I failed to mentiona scuffon the back right corner (white spot in one of the pictures) and a nick in the eagle decal (very small, ust to the left of the eagle head in the picture, t's like a line).
Also, just noticed the blinker is not working. I'm not sure why, just got back from traveling and noticed it late tonight.
