1999 Jeep Cherokee Classic XJ 4x4 with many upgraded aftermarket parts for daily driving or moderate-to-extreme offroad use. 167,670 miles and no rust original paint.

It has been very well maintained and cared for, nd has over $20K in upgrades. This Jeep is equipped with the desired combination of bullet-proof 4.0 liter inline-6 motor, W4 automatic transmission, P231 transfer case, igh pinion D30 front axle, hrysler 8.25 rear axle, wheel disk brakes, ir conditioning, ruise control, nd many quality upgrades listed below. The Classic model is equipped with painted trim, ruise control, ilt wheel, ower windows and door locks, nd cloth seats.

This Jeep has been built for regular highway use, s well as challenging trails and has driven the Rubicon Trail and other extreme terrain found at Big Bear, alifornia, arker, rizona, nd Moab, tah. I have also set this up with front axle hubs and dedicated towing lights for easy flat towing behind your motor home or truck. I have prices and replacement dates/mileage for all upgrades and maintenance listed below.

Engine:

Bulletproof 4.0L I6 motor with Brown Dog motor mounts,stainless steelheader, &N drop-in air filter, nd Magnaflow exhaust. Starter, lternator, adiator hoses, gnition switch relay, ap, otor, lugs, nd wires, dle air controller, PS sensor, nd oxygen sensors have been all replaced recently. Rear main seal has been replaced.

Drivetrain:

AW4 auto transmission, P231 transfer case with Advance Adapters SYE, orrected speedo gear, ear Advance Adapters CV driveshaft, nd Sac Drivelines long travel HD front driveshaft with Spicer u-joints.

Suspension:

Jeep suspension has been replaced with a 5.5” Rubicon Express 6200 Long Arm lift kit with 6300 full leaf packs, D Offroad Engineering rear shackle relocation kit, KS Industries adjustable coil over spacers (ACOS), rothane bump stops, nd Rubicon Express swaybar disconnects for greater articulation on the trail. Bilstein 5100 monotube shocks are installed front and rear and provide an outstanding ride quality on and off the trail. The long arm lift kit and new leaf springs were installed at 165k miles.

Axles:

Front high pinion Dana 30 axle with 4.56 G2 ring and pinion gears, ukon Grizzly full-case locker, uff Stuff diff cover, itro Gear and Axle steel axle tube sleeves, ini skids, ynergy ball joints, nd Warn hub kit with 4340 chromoloy axle shafts/Spicer u-joints. Front axle was completely rebuilt with seals, earings, ing and pinion gears, nd locker at 164k miles. The axle is sleeved, ocked, nd built with strong chromoloy shafts and hubs, hich makes it durable and very easy to drive on and off road. Unlocking the hubs while on pavement sets the axle to spin free, hich improves daily drivability and flat towing.

Rear Chrysler 8.25, 9-spline axle with 4.56 Sierra ring and pinion gears, RB air locker, uff Stuff diff cover, nd G2 Gear and Axle rear disk brake conversion kit. Rear axle was completely rebuilt with seals, earings, ing and pinion gears, nd locker at 164k miles. The C8.25 is similar in durability to the Dana 44 axle, nd is suitable for up to 35” tires.

ARB air locker is activated by a Viair on board air compressor and 2.5 gallon air tank. Compressor plumbing includes a separate air chuck for air tools and air hose for airing up tires.

Brakes:

4-wheel disk brakes and braided, tainless steel brake lines (red) from Crown Performance. Rear drum brakes have been replaced at 164k miles with the G2 Gear and Axle disk brake conversion kit including slotted and drilled rotors and Mopar proportioning valve. Front brakes are new. Brakes are outstanding.

Tires/Wheels:

Five (5) 33x12.50x15” Goodyear MT/R tires on 10” Cragar black steel rims (5x4.5” bolt pattern) with 4.25” offset to prevent rubbing on control arms and to enable full turning radius. Tires and rims were installed at 162k miles. Spare tire is installed in the cargo area in a custom built utility box with tie downs for safety and security. The MT/Rs provide excellent offroad traction and have a very durable Kevlar sidewall, nd perform very well on pavement.

Steering:

Stock steering has been replaced with the preferred Currie Enterprises “Currectlync” heavy duty steering system with welded over the top (OTT) GoFerIt tie rod flip for increased ground clearance of the chromoloy tie rod, ld Man Emu (OME) steering damper, .O.R.E steering box brace, ubicon Express adjustable track bar and track bar brace, ew HD steering box and high/low pressure lines. The Currie setup is considered the best steering for the Jeep XJ and performs better than stock in all conditions.

Armor:

Jeep is equipped with a JCR Offroad front Stage IV bumper with 2” receiver (for winch or recovery equipment), CR rear Stage II bumper with 2” receiver for towing up to 5,000lbs, CR rear lower quarter panel guards, rrFab rear side protection with rails, nd AJ’s Super Rail rock sliders. Both front and rear bumpers are equipped with D-ring tabs for recovery shackles.

Other upgrades:

Viair onboard air system with 2.5 gallon tank located in the cargo area to run the ARB air locker and for inflating tires or running pneumatic tools; Bushwacker flat fender flares; Sony premium stereo and Polk Audio speakers; Firestick antenna hood mount and brand new Uniden UM415 25 watts radio; Lebaron hood vents for engine bay cooling; integrated flat tow wire harness with bumper mounts and dedicated brake lights; 3 LED light bars;new clockspring and alternator, ND much more.…I have every maintenance record and receipt for all parts installed since buying this Jeep in 2009.
