The Series IIA is widely regarded as the most enduring Series model made alsoThe Series 11ais considered by many the most hardy Series model constructed.both in terms of its mechanical and physical ruggedness and the perception the public has of the Land Rover marque in general.
In the 1960s dozens of films and documentaries showed the western world far away locales for the first time,It is also the type of classic Land Rover that features strongly in the general public's perception of the Land Rover, rom its many appearances in popular films and television documentaries set in Africa throughout the 1960salmost always made accessible by someone driving a Series IIA. In many ways, t was during this period that Land Rover built its continuing legacy in the public’s mind and this IIA is the perfect representation of that.
The IIA retains its original tried, rue and battle tested (in many cases, iterally) the 2.25L Gas. The exterior is in good condition, few flaws but nothing that bad for 1970 would have. Original paint in good condition. A little polishing would go a long way. Hard to find original paint in this condition. Interior is in good condition a few flaws but nothing that bad for a 1970 would haveeither. Front and Rear seats are in nice condition. I believe this vehicles would make a nice driver or restore to your level of satisfaction. You do not comeacross these often. This vehicle is in good condition considering its age. With 87227miles on it. It runs and drives as it should. It is being sold as is where is with no warranty at all. To a collector these can go for asmuch as 60,000.
