Description

One of the best fully-suited Discovery's you'll find anywhereUp for sale is one of the best Discovery's you'll find out there. All beautifully suited up for off-roading. It is a very well maintained 2003 Land Rover Discovery SE in chawton white/alpaca beige with just under 70k miles. It has many factory options including hill climb descent. front & rear windshield defrost. towing package. cold climate package. etc. She is a beauty and she gets thumbs up and passerby looks everywhere I go. Really a stunning car that says in a luxurious and refined way "get out my way I'm going to places you can't go". No expense has been spared on building and maintaining this truckBesides having always been serviced on time this Disco has been built up over the years to make a mean off-roading machine. Options added include:Huper Optik Tint - all windows tinted - Huge difference in heat reduction from the sun vs conventional tintDBA Longlife Gold Drilled/Slotted RotorsKevlar Brake PadsBeautiful black steel wheelsDick Cepek Mud Country E tires LT265/75R-16 in great conditionARB off-road bumper on the frontWARN winch 8. 00 lbSafety Devices Highlander Rack. Unfortunately I only took it off-roading twice (Houston and west Texas is all flat so off-road places are far from here). All documentations and receipts have been kept for the last 6-7 years. Warranty: The extended warranty expired in 2009 with me forgetting to renew it. So it hasn't had any warranty since then but I've always fixed anything that has given problems. Notes and issues:The car is a 2003. that is 12 years old and the interior. though well maintained. is that of a 12 year old car and in the pictures you can see the wear. The roof is like new as I had if redone about a year ago. The exterior has minor dents. You can see on the pictures but if you want more details I'll take more pictures. although sometimes it is hard to see them on the pics. The backlight guards have some rust. You can just repaint them or remove them if you don't like the looks. The fender flares also have some wear. I have thought about replacing them but I never got to buy them You can easily find the parts on ebay. The sunroof doesn't open. I'm unsure weather it's an easy fix or if the electric motor is broken. I haven't fixed it because I never use it since there's a roof rack on top. The pictures were taking shortly after washing the car. So if you see something that looks like water that's probably it. This is an amazing car but like all Discoveries they're cheap for a reason. and the reason is that it will cost you $500-1. 00 a year in repairs and maintenance. Everything works now but something breaks every couple of years and you need to be conscious about the expenses of owning a foreign car. I have described the car as accurate as I can. The car is sold as is. If you can I encourage you to come and see it. If you want particular pictures I can email them. Payment: $500 deposit at the end of the auction. Payment can be through wire or ACH transfer. cashiers check. or personal check but I'd have to wait until it clears before releasing the car. If you're from out of state I recommend you use escrow. com to take care of the whole transaction in a safe way for both. You can also send an inspector from carchex. com or any other site to inspect the car and take pictures for you. The car can be shipped but must be arranged by buyer. I can help with recommending companies.
