1970 Lotus Europa S2. Red over Black. I purchased this Europa as a bucket list love affair and to get it indoors and preserved. Health issues force sale. Vehicle is numbers matching and appears to have not been apart. I have the original transmission tag which came off in my care (see photo). Engine and transmission match Vin plate. The car needs a total restoration or refurbishment. I am hopeful that buyer preserves car. Engine is locked up. Left rear quarter has minor fiberglass tear which appears to be from storage movements and not an accident. Car was found in a local "carriage house", subsequently purchased from an elderly owner. I believe that it can be titled. Interior is shot as it was stored outside with windows partially down prior to my ownership. The elderly owner stated that the parking brake was locked up (still is locked up), and he messed with the wiring in an attempt to get the windows closed. Frame was not on the ground when I purchased the car. Period correct cosmic wheels. Seats come with car yet are in parts and appear to be shot. There is surface rust on many surfacesyet I believe the frame to be solid I will facilitate a PPI as desired by purchaser. Buyer is responsible for vehicle pick up. The car is located in Anderson County, KY, stored indoors, dry, at my cabin/barn. Unit # 7012280730R, Type 65, Engine #1724, Transmission 2046. Vehicle is for sale As Is/Where Is, absent of expressed or implied warranty or condition. US sales only. My PayPal account is dysfunctional through EBAY, cash preferred, cashiers check must clear prior to vehicle pick up. I will answer any questions that I am able to. Hagerty views avg. value of a 1970 S2 at $11,700. Seller reserves the right to end auction as vehicle is for sale locally.
