This 1975 Mercedes 300D is in great shape and runs like a top as most diesel Mercedes do. This car has been well looked after with it living its entire life between Vancouver and Victoria on Vancouver Island. The car was purchased on June 11th 1975 from the Mercedes Canada Dealer in Vancouver and shows much of the service history from new though servicing in Vancouver and Victoria. The spec on this car is quite high with electric windows and electric Sunroof which are all still functional though the passenger rear window can be intermittent. During a prior owners possession the car was painted (to a high standard) with a green that I have been told is a VW colour. There are also 4 new tires on the car as well as servicing of belts, il and fluids. The car drives very well with no bumps, hakes or rattles which indicate the suspension is absorbing and damping well. The steering is direct and has no play. Braking is firm, ecureand very progressivewith no pull or vibration. This car I believe could be driven across the country. The paint and Bright work is in great shape with only one very minor spot of rust under the left front headlight. By browsing the pictures I'm sure you will see how good the paint is and how solid the body is. By the look of the service history The odometer has rolled over so the actual mileage should be 148,985.
Take advantage of the low Canadian dollar and pick up a collectible.
If you have any questions please let me know.
I forgot to mention, he air condition unit was removed from the car by a previous owner. The blower and heater are still functional.
