1976 Mercedes Benz 300D diesel sedan w115 chassis. Last year for the w115. Brief History:This car belongs too my good friend Mr. Floyd. He has no ebay or computer . How in his 80. he and his wife are moving to an assisted living facility. His loving and caring family removed his 1983 Mercedes Benz 300SD that his wife drove. gave him nothing. ( hovering greedy vultures ) I towed this car to my home to sell it and give him the funds. Mr. Floyd bought this car from the original owner. who lived in Ashville N. C. The car was purchased in 1985. in 1997 the miles were 66. 51. He drove the car until 2005 with 120. 14 miles. parked it in his garage. stopped driving. medical issues. Has not been driven or started since then. He drained the coolant. evacuated the r-12 freon. added diesel fuel conditioner to 3 gallons fuel in the tank. That was ten years ago. Factory original paint. no accidents. no dents. no body work. no bondo. south west Ga. car. no snow. no ice. no slush. no salt. the interior is excellent. firm seats. no sag. factory floor mats. no cracks on dash. speaker grille is wrinkled with age. trunk pan is rust free. photo with mat out. spare tire with factory jack in place. two bubble spots on body. detail in photo. Mr. Floyd removed the storage pocket on drivers door for some reason. says he has it some place. r. Floyd does not throw anything away. he will look for it ?Two 12 year old boys were hunting squirrels on his property. he asked them not to shoot near the house. his reward two bb shots to the windshield. it cracked. the car has no battery. I put my battery in. disconnected the fuel line. turned over easy. oil pressure went to 35 lbs. no noise. oil is clean. head lights. brake lights. turn signal. radio. windows. sun roof. nbsp; work. power antenna try. to work. has the original factory tool kit. the car was loved and cared for. non smoker. all ways garaged. clean and open title in hand. The car comes with all the factory books. including the shop manual. metal I. D. tag. service records from original owner and Mr. Floyd. service records show a/c compressor. evaporator. related parts were changed in the 90. . hard to read faded invoice. At this time I cannot take the time too: flush the fuel tank. flush and or replace fuel lines. bleed fuel pump and injectors. change the fuel filters. This is what I think at a minimum should be done. if you are worried it would take more or unknown. then please do not bid. I used this procedure on Mr. Floyd. mothers 1977 240D when I had the time. It was in dry storage for 14 years. It sold on ebay in Nov. of last year. It is listed in my feedback. So I. m selling the car as is for Mr. Floyd. Look at the photo. and judge for yourself.
