Immaculate '97 S420 78k Original Miles, 2 Previous Owners

This is an immaculate 1997 Mercedes Benz S420 V8 with everything on it.Some people say this S Class Type W140 is the last of the great "overbuilt" Mercedes Benz automobiles.This car has only 78,500 miles on it, ost of them put on by it's previous elderly, on smoking owners.
This car runs perfectly.This model S420 sold new in 1997 for about $80,000.Has had entire 80k Mercedes service check by a Mercedes trained professional mechanic.This car is ready to serve someone in style for EASILY another 100k miles or even 200k.Or, ince it is already 19 years old, eep it for Sunday outings and display it in car shows. Last of the great Benz automobiles.The drive shaft rubber mounts have been changed.All fluids were changed or brought up to date including oil, rans fluid, oolant, ower steering.New serpentine belt.Recent tune up.All new brakes and rotors.This car has no interior rips, t has no operating issues, t is completely dry underneath, o drips, as never had any body damage, nd has always been in either California or Arizona.Mostly Arizona.It has been garage kept for its entire life, nd has been regularly serviced by Mercedes Benz.This car needs nothing and has no issues. You can drive it wherever you want as soon as you get it.
It has a Bose 12 speaker stereo system and seek and find Mercedes factory radio that sounds like a concert hall.The power auto antenna is disconnected because the plastic connector strap from the motor to the raising mechanism broke so I put it up and down manually. A whole new unit is under $100.At 85 mph there isvirtually no wind noise.At idle, ou will wonder if the engine is running it is so quiet.
There is slight crease wear on the driver's seat cushion, photo) otherwise the big leather seats are perfect.I keep inexpensive cloth seat covers on the front seats. They are included.Carpets are perfect as are the matchingremovable carpet protectors.The trunk and rear seat look like they were never used.There is a scrape on the front passenger bumper corner (photo) but the rest of the car finish is showroom new.Original owner's manual and entire new car materials as well as recent service records are included.The built in cell phone obviously does not work anymore.The outside rear mirror "flip and fold" mechanism sometimes does not work but the mirror adjustment works fine.The blow up lumbar support is weak, ut the 8 or 12 way power seats operate perfectly.All interior and exterior lights, witches, nstrument panel, ontrols, ork properly including sunroof,odometer, peedometer, ll gauges, ontrols, C, tc.Transmission upshifts and downshifts smoothly.This car even comes with a Mercedes issued dash pad AND Mercedes issued folding front windshield sun shield.Tires are good.AC is automatic temperature controlled and blows ice cold.Vacuum door locks AND remote keyless entry operate properly.Cruise control functions properly.Steers and handles magnificently. If you have never driven one of these, ou will be surprised and amazed at how fast and agile a car this big can be.This car needs nothing and has no issues. You could pick it up and drive it anywhere.
