1972 Mercedes 280SE 4.5L "NO RESERVE"

Listed for auction is a 1972 Mercedes 280SE. This car has been in the family for over 20 years. now my wife has inherited it and another car. It has been stored in a barn for the last 10 years where the last family member had started prepping for paint. The body is solid. the only damage can be seen in the pictures and is on the front drivers fender. the car had been started and yard driven until last year when the fuel pump went out. It was a nice running and driving car before he stripped all the paint. The interior is in nice shape and only needs a good cleaning. All the chrome appears to be in nice shape and accounted for in the trunk. I just moved it out of the barn in December and have it under a shed but we just can't keep it and all of my other projects. My wife had no interest in this particular car so we are just listing as it sits. I'm not a Mercedes guy but I will try to answer any questions you may have. I have the title in hand. Winning bidder must contact me within 24 hours of auction end. and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $500. 00 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 7 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours I reserve the right to re-list the vehicle. sell it to the next high bidder. or sell it otherwise.
