Tanners Classic and Performance Motors is selling this beautiful 1970 Cyclone GT on consignment. The car underwent a driver quality, ody on restoration, pproximately 10 years ago and has been driven about 200 miles since. The paint still looks fresh with no signs of rust or body work cracking or bubbling. The owner spent approximately 25K on the car over the past ten years. The transmission was rebuilt. The status of the engine is not known. However it runs strong and does not smoke at all. It is not the original numbers matching engine. It appears to be a 71 4 barrel Cleveland motor. The car has a new vinyl top, ew headliner, ew carpet. The car presents very well even on close inspection. We have the Marti report, uild sheet, riginal owners manual and warranty card.
I have a detailed video included in the ad. I pointed out there is an exhaust leak and I ordered exhaust donuts. The manifold does not accept donuts as they are built into the manifold. I applied some high temp. gasket sealer to the flange witch helped but did not eliminate the leak. I can't locate a crack in the manifold itself so I believe it is the H pipe flange not sealing properly to the exhaust manifold. The speedometer and gas gauge are working however I can't confirm that all the dash lights work. The wipers work but the radio and blower motor do not. The car is being sold as is so keep that in mind if you want the car.
In conclusion this is a very solid, wesome looking, ood running, river quality car that has held up well since being restored 10 years ago. Keep in ming that good is relative to 1970 standards. The car has drum brakes which are working as they should but they are still drum brakes. The car comes with your choice of magnum 500 wheels or the original 5 slot steel wheels. This a buy now or best offer listing, he car is also for sale locally so the listing may end at any time.Call LeRoy Tanner with any questions at 717-254-5075.
