This is a 1940 series 70 Oldsmobile business coupe. I have owned this car since 1967 and restored it to stock condition in about 1982 and in 1996 took it apart (frame-off) and made it into a resto rod. It is stock bodied with the exception of the rear roll pan and widened rear fenders. The paint is House of Color Oriental Blue and Wild Cherry and is about 10 years old and in good shape. The motor was rebuilt about 12. 00 miles ago. ored and line bored. balanced. new pistons. valves. cam. gear driven timing. heads are studded and have roller rocker arms. W30 type camshaft and duel 4 intake manifold. headers. Walker radiator. TH400 trans rebuilt 1000 miles ago. Suspension is Fatman clip with tubed upper and lower A arms. 4 wheel manual disc brakes. panard bar rear suspension with air springs. Rod lite style. Weld rims. Car handles well and is a great cruising hot rod and also FAST. Interior is stock style business with new upholstry with Native America patterned bench seat. comfortable. There is no rear seat in this model. there are sheves and a spare tire compartment. The trunk interior has not been upholstered and is in need of completion. This is a rare and classy street rod.
