+This International truck was owned by my father. He bought it from the Meadow Gold Dairy Co. in Lincoln. Nebraska. nbsp;around 1946. It had been an Ice truck with a narrow box. He built the grain box from parts of the box that was on it. He painted the box red. but over the years. it has faded back to the original Meadow Gold. that you see in the pictures. I drove this truck when I was nine years old. in 1950. We were in the alfalfa field after the hay was baled. He would put the truck in . st gear (grandma) pull the throttle out just so it would run slow. I would drive down the rows and he would load the bales on the truck. I thought I was pretty hot stuff. The truck has been in the shed since 1974. High and dry. Last fall. wind partially collapsed the roof. A 2x6 dropped onto the cab. putting a dent in the roof. The fenders have been repaired. as you can see. The doors and hood are straight. but with cracked and broken door glass. The back cab glass. and windshield are good. The engine is original. radiator. all complete. The cab is complete. all gauges. key ignition. light switch. seat back cushion. nbsp; EXCEPT. nbsp; the seat bottom. It wore out a long time ago. You could still drive it because you were sitting on the gas tank. on a fat cushion. The truck is as you see it. maybe it will interest you. Buyer is responsible for pickup. I can not deliver. I may be able to arrange something. You may contact me at 904-219-6373.
