This is a 1968 Triumph TR250.It is kind of rough. It was an ex race car. Then it sat in the Arizona desert for many years. It has rust.. It does not run now. You can not drive it home.It is a project. It is a builder. From what I was told, it was an ex race car. The kind that was pulled by a towbar to the track weekends and run on the street other times. The tow bar brackets are still on the car. Though I took the little trailer brake lights that were put on the trunk and the wiring off. And put the stock tail lights back in. We hung the brand new front bumper that came with the car.. Has a brand new in bag dash top I laid over the old cracked one. There is a set of new NOS fender beads for all corners not installed yet that will be included. The top is probably original and is now toast. Burnt. Though the metal top frame still looks good. Seats are shot, dash is bad, door panels need replacement. While one would question being a race car with no roll cage, no 3 point seat belts, stock Michelin Redlines, etc, open the hood and you will see. An Arjay Racing drivetrain that looks like it was not run much. We got it fired up and it sounds wicked. Though it needs the throttle shaft hooked up, choke installe, fuel system cleaned, fluids changed, belt, hoses, tune up, carbs set,etc to run any length of time. Guess Arjay does the triple Weber carbs, roller rockers, performance cam, crank, lightened fly whee, really nice set of 6 into one custom headers, Crane ignition, new rear tranny mount, etc. I have no paperwork or other history on the build. And the engine build shows something else . Arjay is back East and that explains the body condition. So while this car has been laying about in the sunny Arizona desert of late, it must of started in the wet rusty East. It has rust. The passenger floor has fiberglass over most of it. The drivers has thick heavy rust and rust thru at the front left section. The drivers side inner rocker is bad.Though the passenger side is not bad and may be a replacement. There are patches here and there over the years from rust repair. The frame is so so. There are some rust thru areas near the rear mounts that I tried to show them in some pictures. Though most of the frame is clean.Trunk floor is solid. Inner rockers at the firewall /wheelwell aea have rustthru and damage on both sides. Though a lot of the underside is clean, solid and nice. Battery tray has rust thru.. So this is a tough one.. If this was a TR4 or TR, I would think twice about listing this together and sell it piece by piece till the cows come home. Already been offered 5k just for the engine. But being a low production one year only TR250, that is not the way to go. Especially with a drivetrain as nice as this. Like to find the one guy out there who can help get this neat car back out there. What you see is what you get. This will be a great one for someone who wants to work with a pretty rare Triumph with a great drivetrain with a so so body that has a lot of upside potential when done. Has straight clean Arizona title in my name and ready to go. Full payment within 7 days. Storage till pickup is no problem. No problem arranging overseas shipping. Can get it over to the shippers in Long Beac, California for 300 bucks Let me know if you have any questions.

On Sep-14-16 at 12:44:51 PDT, seller added the following information:A number of questions about what an Arjay Racing Engine is have been received. Some have asked if it is a Chevy, a Ford, a Yugo. Well not on the Yugo. I dug up some numbers that should help. The engine number is CF28342UF. Which should be 74 1/2 Triumph TR6. With a 313247 head number. Tranny number is CC109301. Which also should be 1974 1/2 TR6. Rear axle is number CD2693. When under there I noticed newer rubber mounts, new rear wheel brake cylinders, etc. While we are at numbers, the body tag number is 1825CC. And the Vin Number is CD1731 L. Non OD. So this car will not do well at Pebble Beach getting picked apart by the judges no matter what you do with the body. This will never be a matching number, Concours car . But with a drivetrain like thi, it will do great on the street and at the track. Arjay gets as much HP as possible with their engine upgrade builds, have done it a long time and do first class work. The stainless 6 into one header is a piece of art. I have no engine build data, when done, how much it cost, dyno test results and so on, but I bet if you contact them with these numbers, they would try to help..
