Studebaker Classic 1962

This is a VERY SOLID Southern California car. never saw salted roads. was shipped to NJ where it has been in a climate controlled garage. and attended to details. It is defiantly a car of the 60's that no one seemed to appreciate up until recently. Like always. after the Company went out of business they are now becoming more and more popular because of being seen for what they were. and are. If you notice. it is probably more aerodynamic than the cars of today. with a whole lot more style and class. just check out the stainless work. I bought it because I like the 4 speed posi. Setup. for more enthusiastic driving. It is a factory 289 four barrel. dual exhaust. four speed. with tach. In the dash. also it has a VERY RARE vacuum gauge in the dash. ALL of the gauges work. as I just replaced the temperature and Tachometer with OEM It stops VERY good. almost like Power brakes. everything on the car works as it should. and has just been professionally gone over completely. All windows. lights. heaters (under the seats) etc. have been checked and serviced as needed. Recently had new points. cap. rotor. plugs. ignition wires. nd the carburetor was just rebuilt. It runs very smooth. and drives very well with no issues. It has an all new leather interior. new head liner. panels and carpets. that were in stalled in California (very nice workmanship) This is a good driver. not a trailer Queen. that you can't enjoy. the underside pictures reveal. how virgin the car is. and there is nothing hidden with any cover ups. still has factory under coating. the right door is the only hardship to the car. and it has some spots of chipped paint. It has had one repaint and could use another if you want it for show quality. One last thing. this car drives just like the 1964 Chevelle 283 SS four speed I had in 1965. with the same close ratio Borg Warner transmission. What a nice feel. To old to be acting like a kid. so it's for sale. along with some others I'm going to get rid of soon. Look at the pictures and e-mail or call me if you want. before you buy.
