you are looking at a 1961 ford econoline E12 custom station bus. we bought this a few months ago with plans to use as a food delivery van but after much research and talking to a few "econoline experts" come to find out she is kinda rare and to do the things we wanted for work would have destroyed her value. There were only 6. 71 of these made and I have not seen another after scouring the internet for the last few months. She is mechanically sound. original motor and still runs great and stops on a dime. The only thing we have done is put in new spark plugs. and fix some loose wires under the dash. most of the work was interior and exterior. Her body had some dents and dings but she had some body and paint work done. she has some very very light rust but nothing eaten through. Everyone is surprised that she is in this good of shape for her age. The previous owners uncle had bought it and used it as a advertising and work van. kept it inside a lot . We put in a brand new windshield. new tires and rims(switched to 14's) and vintage hubcaps. we have the original 13 inch tires. ims and hubcaps that stay with the van as well. Of course added new battery. we did the redwood bumpers. but the originals are here as well. She has her original headliner(rare) in good shape and all her fiberglass inside trim (except for about a 1ft strip over rear doors) and she has her original side step out(needs connector bar hooked up). We added new interior side panels. carpet. arm rest. touched up interior paint. The seats are original. the drivers seat and the back rear split seat have original upholstery but the last owner tried to recover the passenger seat with a kit. I just put seat covers on all. We put in a new heater blower motor. but then found out the heater core needs some work. so blower works but no heat. checked into it guy said it needed to be taken out and welded. had a small leak. New blower hoses clamps. gas cap. emergency brake handle. ome light covers. ll bulbs. taillight lens. gaskets and a few other odds and ends. Shes a looker for sure. everyone is always honking or stopping to look. But I would like to say she is 54 years old. the first of her kind. she is not perfect or in mint condition. If you have other questions please feel free to ask. we will answer best we can. Can also send more pics and we have a video or her running down the road!
