Ioffer my 1976 Porsche 914 targa top with a 1.8 liter engine. The car is complete, t is rolling, t has original green tinned glass and a straight set of Rivera aluminum rims – it is a very solid base to restore or built a 914/6 racer - the car is sitting since 2008 and actually it is not running- the interior is clean and does not have any rips or tears – the odometer says 7777 miles – I think it was turned over one time. The rust you see in the pictures is only surface - it comes with a third seat and a homemade 914 GT “chicken grill” - the buyer has to pick up the car, nvest some TLC as well as some US $’s – and you will have one fine Porsche 914.
In Maine we do not have titles for cars older than 20 years. Ownership will be transferred withcontract.
At this time I also advertised the car locally. If it is sold I will end the auction on EBAY.
If you have any serious offers, uestion or you want to see more pictures - please let me know.
On Jun-15-15 at 15:41:27 PDT, eller added the following information:I just received following message:
I'm 99% sure that all 1976 cars were delivered with 2.0 motors. The motor pix bear this out since the air cleaner and some of the other components are definitely 2.0 (unless there was a motor swap somewhere along the way and the 2.0 air cleaner was reinstalled). The only way to verify is to check the motor number. If the number is preceded by GC (GA for some years) it's a 2.0, f EC it's a 1.8. Hope this is helpful.
