1960 MGA California Speedster

Offered here today is a lovely custom 1960 MGA California Speedster. Finished in Indian Blue with a light grey interior and covering just over 1600 miles since a complete rebuild. Built in 2009 by Roger Sheridan of Sheridan Motorsports, noted Porsche race car specialist, he project started out as a rust free Californian car, t was completely stripped, ost of the large body parts were refurbished, large portion of the small stuff was brand new from Moss Motors. The engine is a worked MGB 5 bearing crank 1800cc with a crossflow head, win sidedraft Webers and a custom performance exhaust system. The transmission is a Ford Sierra 5-speed. Large sway bars front and rear help the lowered sports suspension keep the car fun through the corners. The wheels are 15" Minilite style knock-offs with 185/65R15 Bridgestone Potenza's. As the photos show, his project was given the greatest attention to detail, ven the custom speedster style windscreen looks factory. A hidden Alpine CD player offers Bluetooth connectivity. A box of photos and receipts come with the car. Everything about this car is right, t's a beauty to look at and it drives like a dream. The car is currently owned by British actor Max Beesley of Suits and Mad Dogs fame who has enjoyed it for many years especially on the legendary Mulholland Drive, n activity enacted by many of young Hollywood over the decades.This car has been driven so it's not a garage queen, t does have a few stone chips and the underside is a little dusty, ne good weekend with some cleaning products would take care of that.
