1971 OPEL GT, 4-SPEED, 38,000 ORIGINAL MILES, CALIFORNIA CAR, AMAZING CONDITION!

1971 OPEL GT This is an original condition car that is in amazing condition. It was purchased in California and has remained here for all of its 44 years. I purchased 6 months ago from the second owner who purchased from the original owner who obviously rarely drove the car and kept it garaged. The second owner did some work to the car; here is a list. New brakes front and rear with wheel cylinders and linesNew clutch and sealsRebuilt brake master cylinderNew Yokohama tiresNew rear exhaustBilstein shocks front and rearThe car had its original paint job when I purchased and was losing its color so I had the car painted a very nice 2-stage paint in OEM Flame Red; it looks awesome! The car was so nice it deserved to look like a 44 year old car with low miles that has been very well taken care of. The interior is amazing and is all original (except Sony Xplode with AUX and SAT Radio ready) and that the seats are in such nice condition. The dash was perfect but during the paint job it cracked at the VIN plate. You really have to see and drive this car to believe it. Windshield wiper hoses need fittings under hood to squirt waterFront turn signals don't work and I think headlights don't either. Probably a relay but I haven't driven at nightFront and rear chrome bumper should be re-chromed so that they look as good as the car doesI have the car listed locally so this auction can end at any time.
