1996 Volkswagen GTI VR6 OBDII MK3 VW I am sadly selling my GTI after 15 years of amazing memories. I am selling it because about a year ago the head gasket blew and I have not had or taken the time to fix it. It really kills me to sell it but I can only hope someone will purchase it and will enjoy it as much as I have for so long. It has just over 100k miles and I prefer the buyer to fix it and enjoy it rather than part it out. I am selling the car as-is. everything was working fine before the head gasket blew. I have always used Mobil One Oil and Premium fuel. I built this car for back roads and it drives like it’s on tracks. The nitrous was added just for a little bump of highway fun. Needs Head Gasket 2. Needs a new shift Knob 3. Some paint cracking on the roof around antenna. (My plan was just to paint it flat black or sand and wrap it) 4. Small hairline crack on rear bumper (barely visible but thought I should state it) 5. One of the MOMO seat has a small tear. 6. Steering wheel has a rub mark at the 12 o’clock position.
