Thanks for the interest! You're bidding on my 2004 VW Golf. I bought the car with approximately 90,000 miles in March 2014. I drove it until the end of 2015, and it's been stored in a carport since then (I moved and no longer need a vehicle). It's driven regularly to keep everything in shape and still runs wonderfully.
I have had no issues with the car and have put approximately 20,000 miles on it. At 105,000, I changed the timing belt and water pump as part of routine maintenance. At approximately 109,000 I put new tires on that still have almost all of their tread. Features includes automatic locks, windows, and mirrors, cassette/CD player and radio, and A/C and heat.
The only issues for the car are cosmetic and due to age. The clear coat on top began to peel and has been repainted. The Bass knob on the radio came off and was lost, though the Bass can still be adjusted just fine. The handle for the glove box door broke off, but it can still be opened and is functional. Finally, there is some minor sag in the headliner. If you have any other or more specific questions about the condition, just ask and I'll respond asap.
In general, it's a great, reliable car, and I'm sure it will run smoothly for the foreseeable years and decades to come based on the way it's been driven and routine maintenance. If I were still driving regularly, I'd be keeping it without a doubt.
Winning bidder is responsible for a $500 down payment within 24 hours of end of auction, and must complete payment and pickup within a week of sale. Happy to work with you to facilitate the smoothest transition possible. Thanks again for your interest, and best of luck bidding!
