NO RESERVE 1972 Baja Bug, Arizona Car, Runs and Drives Very Well

This is a solid Baja Bug that has spent it's entire life in the Arizona desert. The floor pans are excellent. including the area under the battery and both rocker panels. The car was modified into a Baja Bug prior to my purchase. so I do not have extensive details on the build. It looks to be well done. and the car handles very well on the road. Typical of a Baja. there are scrapes and dents on the pan. but nothing that indicates any serious off-road abuse. Both doors close tightly. and the windows roll up and down. The interior is actually quite nice. with a decent headliner and very nice velour seats with ample padding. It is set up for a standard DIN sized stereo. although the head unit is missing. The kick panels still have custom speakers installed. so it would be easy to bring music back to this bug. All of the glass is in good condition. and the windshield and rear window seals are excellent. The tires all have good tread. with no unusual wear. Their age is unknown. however. and some minor cracking is starting to show. There is some minor rust bubbling on the right quarter panel above the fender. but the car is otherwise rust-free. All of the running lights. dash lights. turn signals. and stop lights are tested and functional. Both the generator and oil warning lights function. and go out when the car is started. I have only driven this bug for testing purposes. but it does drive quite well. The clutch feels good. and all four forward gears and reserve engage without drama. The brakes also function well. but I have not removed the drums to inspect. The backing plates are all dry. with no signs of leaking brake fluid. I just changed the oil with 20 W 50 Valvoline Racing Oil. and cleaned the filter screen. I also changed out the rubber fuel lines and fuel filter for safety. and replaced the air filter. The engine runs very well. starts easily. and does not smoke. The battery holds a charge. even after sitting for weeks. This bug has a clear Arizona title.
