1969 Volvo 142SThis car has been my daily driver for the past 5 years and has been great. nbsp;but its time to sell. I am the 3rd owner and have put about 40K miles on it since I bought it. It does have only 120K original miles. And I have all its history. The motor is a bit tired and the body a little rough and rusty. but overall it is a nice 142 and could be awesome with some work. See it drive here: https://www. youtube. com/watch?v=Y9746drknLIRepairs and upgrades made since I've owned the car:- Complete fuel system restore: Restored gas tank. New fuel lines. Rebuilt both original SU carbs. New fuel pump. - Suspension: Powder coated control arms. New lowered race springs and Bilstein shocks from V-Performance. New ball joints. All new front end bushings. New tie-rod ends. - Engine: Rebuilt oil pump. New water pump. New custom built 2. 5" stainless exhaust system with magnaflow muffler and resonator. Aluminum 1800 Intake. Cast Exhaust Manifold. Pertronix Electronic Ignition system with performance coil. MSD 6AL Ignition Box with rev limiter. Electronic cooling fan. - Complete brake system restore: 4 wheel disc brakes. All new rotors. Rebuilt calipers. All new brake lines. Rebuilt master cylinder. - New Clutch kit. Resurfaced flywheel. New u-joints. New motor and transmission mounts. Probably more that I am forgetting. The car also comes with all the original manuals and booklets. Also the rare original Volvo spare fuel can accessory and original 1969 Volvo tachometer. I also have a set of 740 turbo wheels I was planning on putting on the car that you can have if you like. The car is currently registered in Ohio and I have the clear Ohio title in my name. As you can see in the photos. there is rust in the lower rear of the car. Both wheel openings in the rear quarters need to be replaced and the spare tire wells in the trunk. There are also a number of dings and dents here and there. most of which are on the quarters and rear. The front fenders and front valence panel have been repainted about 4 years ago. The motor is tired and doesn't have the compression it once had. It leaks oil at high rpms and could use a rebuild soon. That said. it does run fine (check the video link above) and I still drive it periodically. I do also have an extra B20 E or F head (not sure which) that I will include as well. I believe everything is there and in working order with only a few exceptions. The original radio works. but has no antenna so doesn't pick up anything. Also the drivers window track is broken and doesn't roll up straight. Takes 2 hands. The fuel gauge doesn't work. Bad sending unit. I think that's it. Sad to see it go. No reserve auction. High bidder drives her home. Thanks and Good Luck.
