1964,Rambler Typhoon

Own a piece of history. This is one of only 2520 made in 1964. The Typhoon model was made to celebrate Ramblers first modern seven main bearing 232 ci straight six engine. All Typhoons were special editions which were yellow with black roofs and special trim. This car is a survivor except for the original all vinyl interior has been replaced with new correct cloth and vinyl interior, arpet and headliner. It has a great running 232 ci six with a one barrel carb. Three speed column shift manual transmission with overdrive. New drum breaks, lectric wiper and power steering. The body is straight except for the right front fender where the previous owner hit a post. It also bent the the front fender. Both easy fixes. It has the original paint with some surface rust which I have been taking care of. There are no rust through areas on the car. I have three of the original hub caps in the trunk. Everything works including the clock. When I purchased the car I was given a folder from the previous owner with over $11,000 in receipts for mechanical work that has been done to the car. Rebuilt transmission, ront end, rakes and many other repairs. This is really a wonderful car that I am using as my daily driver until it sells. This car is 51 years old and is being sold with no warranty. It is for sale locally and I have the right to end this bidding at any time.
