1996 Harley Davidson FLSTN- Nostalgia Series

This is a beautiful 1996 Harley Davidson. only 2800 of them were made for each year of the Nostalgia Series. 1993 through 1996. This has the beautiful metallic emerald green and silver platinum 2 tone colors that was only available for this 1996 FLSTN motorcycle. For those that are not familiar with this series Harley Davidson took the best of the Fat Boy and Heritage series motorcycles and combined them into this limited production FLSTN. nbsp; many of which now have been chopped. repainted and look nothing like the original old school classic they were meant to be. This particular motorcycle has only 19. 00 miles on it and is in near perfect condition with not a scratch on it. It has never been down and always garaged. This has the 1200 Evo motor and carburetor so it will not need a computer to properly tune it up or fuel injection to mess with. this motorcycle runs great and there is not a single issue with it. if there was it would have been immediately fixed. It also has the optional Harley Davidson driving lights that were installed at the factory prior to delivery. this is not the stripped down model of the 96 FLSTN. I also added a Lindby Front Highway Bar as the look of it stays true to the classic design of this motorcycle. All work was done by Harley Davidson and has been properly maintained in accordance with their maintenance schedules. The pictures do not show the leather saddle bags as I liked the look better with them off and used T-Bags when I needed to carry anything. I installed Vance and Hines long shots and Harley re-jetted the card as well as installing the Screaming Eagle ignition system. All the original parts are included with the sale. As an added bonus I have brand new seats and a total of 2 sets of factory saddle bags with all mounting hardware for each set. One set is brand new and never mounted. Everything that could be chromed is. there is some peeling of the chrome on the lower swing arm but you have to get down and look for it. I have thousands of dollars invested in the chrome. The tires are in excellent condition and staying true to the Nostalgia series I replaced them with the factory Harley wide whitewalls as they add a touch of class to the motorcycle. Many people say that their bikes turn heads. this motorcycle always has people around looking at it whenever it is parked and I am always asked what it is and told they have never seen one before. especially in this condition. The only reason it is being sold is that I am now in my 60's and find that I do not ride it very often. once every couple of weeks I ride it for a mile or so just to keep the battery charged. fluids moving and the tires true. Rather than have it sit and just get waxed and polished I think it is time for a new owner who will enjoy this classic Harley as much as I have. It will be a special Harley enthusiast who will buy this bike. one that can truly appreciate what it is. therefore I am in no hurry to let it go and am pretty firm on the asking price for this beautiful American classic.
