This listing is for the BIMOTA FRONT FAIRING LOWER SECTION & Central Radiator Cover & Vent ( as pictured )
This is an Un Painted / Not Yet Painted Part ( BIMOTA SB8R / S Un Painted )
IT IS MADE OF REAL CARBON FIBER WEAVE AND SPECIAL RESINS
We had these custom made to replace the cheap plastic parts that come on the bike from the factory
The OEM plastic fairing parts tend to crack and warp over time . They also look cheap and really dont fit the bike IMHO.
So we took brand new OEM BIMOTA fairing panels and used them to make our own Custom Molds . Then we made our own Real Carbon Fiber Fairing sections for the bike(s,
The Carbon Fiber sections have many advantages over the plastic OEM part, lus the Carbon Weave just looks right on a rare exotic Italian Super Bike IMHO
This is a Genuine Carbon Fiber BIMOTA Racing Part .
It will fit both the SB8R ( Standard model ) as well as the SB8RS ( Special Limited Edition model ) both 1999 / 2000 model year(s)
IMPORTANT NOTE : This Carbon Fiber part has been made from a mold that was created from an original OEM BIMOTA part. It has not been completely finished . It may require some fitting and some trial and error to fit the bike . We have used these on at least 3 or more BIMOTAs with good results . Also this part has been made from real carbon fiber weave and special resins . It has not been clea coated or finished . You may need to do some wet fine sanding and then either clear coat or paint the part to get the best cosmetics from the part. For racing howeve, ou may be perfectly fine using it as is. The bottom line is that this is not a simple bolt on part .
I have long since sold the bike(s) that this was made for . In fact I had already sol, raded and liquidated all of my older model parts inventory .
But while moving stuff around in the shop I happened to find this and a few other items that were boxed up and I had mis placed them .
Since I no longer own a bike that this part will work on, have no further need of it . So Im listing it here for sale .Please refer to the pictures to see the items true condition.

Additional notes :The fairing parts are the same on both of the SB8R / SB8RS models . The only difference is in the color of the finish .
