1977 BMW 600cc R60/7 Airhead /7 R series NO RESERVE ....

Lots of potential-I bought it off a fellow who was not too mechanical. it died on him and they trailered it home. There it sat. My plans were a complete tear down and repaint and restoration but I do not have time for it and need to clear out the garage. Engine is loose and if I throw jumper on it . it will turn over. I do not know extent of what is wrong it may be major so I am selling it as a non- runner and it is up to the buyer to decide if they are capable of taking on such a challenge. The previous owner did tell me he replaced the starter . other than it looks pretty much all original. Tank and carbs are dry with no gas in them. Odometer has a crack in the glass and I believe it is spun. Previous title does not state mileage as it is too old to track. Front brake is not working- it may need a rebuild master cylinder rebuild kit as it is empty and looks like it had been dripping down. Bags are included but are pretty beat up (one is cracked/melted on the back) but no rack. Side covers are there but they have been glued at some point. Tank looks better in photos than in reality and it needs paint and reseal. He painted the fenders primer black. I think the front shocks need new seals as they were stuck but have come loose but still don't feel right. That is all I can think of for know. it is a 40 year bike so expect age and LOTS of petina. It has kind of a streetfighter bike look or at least that is what I think he was going for. No battery. Tires actually have decent tread and aluminum wheels. Clean title and keys!
