1972 BMW R50/5. Bike is in overall good condition. Engine and frame numbers match. Everything works. starts easy. runs and rides fine. Alloy rims with almost new tires. Exhaust is good- no lay down marks. Looks to be original paint with some touched up areas. Sheet metal is nice - a couple of very small dings in tank. Mikuni carbs. Selling this bike for a friend. he says due to the performance that this bike has been converted to a 750. Not real knowledgeable about BMWs so I can''t guarantee that. Maybe one of the BMW experts out there can tell by the pictures. Handlebars are not stock. Has Showa rear shocks. Bike has a clear Michigan title in the owners name.
