1959 Vintage BMW R-50 "Stunning example" NO RESERVE

You are bidding on one of the most beautiful and perfect vintage BMW R-50 motorcycle painted in Dove white. The pinstripe was done freehand by the famous Nadine Ward to the factory original specifications. Every part of this R-50 was disassembled and restored to better than new condition. Every component received close attention on this restored BMW. The paint was professionally finished and hand polished. The paint is single-stage All of the hardware was cleaned and re-plated, e-chromed, r replaced with stainless steel. The engine, ransmission and final drive were disassembled, nspected and rebuilt to original specifications. All of the bearings, eals, ollowers, ings and pistons were replaced with genuine BMW parts. The electrical system including the wiring harness was replaced. The wheels were disassembled, leaned and laced with new stainless steel SS spokes. The hubs were treated to new bearings, eals and brake shoes. The carbs were rebuilt to original specifications. The speedo was rebuilt. New tires were fitted to the polished rims. I have over 60 detailed photo's showing the bike with it's original owner, hrough the restoration, nd as it sits today in my heated/air conditioned garage. I was born in 1959 and was looking for a vintage bike from my birth year. My wife and I do alot of touring on my Harley Davidson Ultra Classic. Originally I was looking for a 1959 Harley Davidson Sporster, owever, hen I came across this R-50, had to have it in my collection. I purchased this example from the original owner who is still alive today. I have the original Bill of Sale, opy of the original title, ool kit, eys, anuals, nd the same matching Buco helmet that was made in 1959. I also have photo's of the original owner taken when the bike was pulled from his storage shed and also the week after it was restored. One photo has the original owner standing next to the bike with his matching Buco helmet from 1959. The bike spent it's entire life in Pratt Kansas.
The glove box is on the top of the 6 1/2 gallon fuel tank. It has factory Hella directionals, nd everything works perfectly. The sound and ride are absolutely mesmerising. The shaft drive is as smooth as the day it left the factory. I even have the original sticker from the dealership it was purchased from. "Leoys Cycle Sales". This dealer sold BMW's, ndian's, amp; Yamaha's.
I have been collecting Porsches and classics for most of my life. Some of the photo's will show the listed R-50 parked along with my vintage collection. It is covered and will be sold with the cover. It is always being charged while resting in a climate controlled garage. I entered the auto industry back in 1984 and have been featured in over 200 publications fanaticism and for my and obsession for perfection.
