1970 Norton Commando

Regrettably selling my pristine condition '70 Norton Commando 750s with the high pipes. Must sell due to an injury that makes the relatively high pegs uncomfortable and the one up-three down shift more difficult. Metal tank. sealed. No leaks. New paint for tank and covers. professionally done. Engine recently overhauled from the crank up. Copper gaskets. Updated Amal carbs. solastic redone. Clutch replaced. Stainless steel lines replacing the rubber ones. New seat. Electronic ignition. New lithium battery. New tires. New wiring and cables. New brakes. BSA replacement handlebar. a little higher than stock Norton. More comfortable for me at my height. I have invoices for work done here. A lot of time and money in this bike I can no longer ride comfortably. The speedometer runs a little high. Shows 80 mph instead of about 65 on the road. said to be re-calibratable (or just rebuilt). The speedo shows something like 3. 00 miles. I have no idea if that's correct. I doubt it. The engine winds up a little at road speed. about 4000 rpm at 65 mph. Could be calmed down by putting a different sprocket. The first photo shows the bike with original handlebars before I put on the higher BSA bars and mirrors.
