1969 BSA Rocket 3

An excellent unbuggered example of the first year Rocket 3. Matching numbers. Owned since 1993. When purchased it had been in storage and the motor was stuck. The top end was removed the and freed. The reason it wouldn't turn over is that is the rings on one piston were stuck. I stripped the paint. installed new valves. guides. spring and unleaded seats . Then I lost interest. Included are the original standard pistons. which appear in good usable condition. a new set of Hepolite Std rings. and a gasket set. The cylinder appears in good condition with one small fin at the bottom missing. The sheet metal is all there with no dents. All is there except the items named in the description. It shows only 7800 miles on the clock. I have no knowledge of it ever being crashed. I honestly think if the top end was reinstalled it would run. Also included is an original BSA factory Rocket 3 Workshop manual and a Haines Workshop manual. I have a clear Ohio title.
