1943Harley Davidson UL Flathead. This is an awesome bike- excellent example of an authentic vintage bobber- built back in the day using mostly theoem parts. Has been carefully stored and maintained- still looks great, ot crashed, ot crusty, eeds no repair.I have included a video of my pal starting and riding it (see link below). As you cansee in the video, t starts easily and runs great.I do not know the full history or every detail, ut I've looked it over closely and ridden it a lot- very impressive motorcycle.I can't list every nut and bolt, ut all of the major components are originalfactory Harley:un-cutframe, pringer, tanks, ash, peedometer(nice!),engine (80" I assume?) 13 fin cylinders, luminum heads, -51 Linkert, ank-shift 4speed transmission, rocker clutch, oil tank, ootboards/extensions, ront brake, ear brake, ear wheel- lots more.Modified original narrow brace front fenderwithbeautiful 21" Akront rim laced to original star hub, modified original rear fender with brackets for mounting a passenger seat (shown in last picture), landers risers, ustom made Hollywood handlebars bars with mirrors- all internal spark/throttle controls operate smoothly.Brakes work, ights work, hifts through all gears easily, andling issmooth, nd there is plenty of power if you need it. Original 43 cases with matching belly numbers (shown in pics). Yes, ypical of custom bikes back then, he cases have been polished- including the vin boss, ut the numbers are still clearly visibleand match the clean Washington title- not a re-construction or builders title, ot a blue tag, ot bonded, oes not require inspection or waiting- registered in my name. There was an ammo can bolted to the left rear of the frame- the bracket is still there, ut can be removed (not welded). Sorry if I have left out any important details- please feel free to ask questions.
