1948 Harley Davidson WL 45

I will accept a cashier's check, ut it must clear my bank before the bike is shipped. No exceptions.

1948 Harley Davidson WL 45 Flathead.I bought this bike from the gentleman who restored it a few years back. With it, e gave me over $7,000.00 in receipts and two large boxes of original/spare parts, ncluding the original carburetor and air cleaner. I also have a large tool kit roll. I am not sure if the shifter and the foot clutch assemblies are complete. The bike is equipped with a period correct Speedy Shift and hand clutch lever. The engine and trans were professionally rebuilt by a Harley Davidson dealership. The engine has the large valve cylinders. Everything excluding the sheet metal has been powder coated, ncluding the wheels. The seat is new, lthough I have the original. Firestone Deluxe Champion tires were just installed with heavy duty tubes, long with a new battery. The bike currently has a Makuni carburetor installed. It starts first kick every time and runs and rides excellent. Everything works, lthough the original petcock is inoperable and it has a manual fuel valve installed under the tank. The bike is titled as a 1948 Harley Davidson. I have clear, lean Nevada title in my name. Please be aware of shipping costs before you bid. Also, eep in mind that there are two large boxes of spare parts and you need to make sure that your shipper will take them as well as the bike. Shipping is the buyer's responsibility, ut I will help in any way I can. I am able to store the bike for a reasonable period of time until you can arrange shipping.
