First year Panhead 1948 FL motor in a 1964 swingarm frame with a recent 2006 springer front end. Cool mix of original HD and aftermarket parts. Clear Pa. title. The motor was completely rebuilt before I got it. It has 2500 miles on it now. About 250 miles ago. it was running funny because a piston was leaking by so the top end was redone and that piston replaced. The trans is from the same early panhead era. It started as an empty shell. then rebuilt with ALL new parts. One piece kicker. Andrews close ratio gears. It was built up by Mike Wells and now has 2500 miles on it. Mike has been rebuilding bikes over 35 years and knows his stuff. The frame has the stepdown which is 64 and earlier. and if I remember correctly it has A4 stamped on the tube between the tanks. The springer on it now is HD and from around 2006. It was assembled on the bike last fall and never used by me except for a couple rides around my block. It rode great with the springer and sits right. New parts installed when it was put back on the road are belt drive inside primary. and an Andrews J grind cam. Has older 5 gallon fat bobs. Has new throttle and clutch cables. New risers. drag bars. front brake set up is all Performance Machine and all new. Old 70's banana caliper rear brake and 70's swingarm. Mousetrap clutch. Vintage oil filter. Andrews Flowmaster carb just rebuilt. new points and plugs. oil & filter change. Vintage knuckle style coil. New battery. 12 volt generator with regulator. New front tire. Vintage glass lens tail light. Vintage headlight. High beam toggle on the headlight. No horn. Tombstone speedometer. Pingel petcock. The lever for the clutch is and early style. and the brake lever is new Performance Machine. They look similar. but are different. This is a way cool bike. The bike's been changed around over the years. There are no welds or cracks on the cases. there are two chipped fins that I see. one is about the size of a thumbnail. and the other larger. but under the intake and not noticeable. The neck's got some bondo. but Mike think's it's stock. There are a few paint flaws on the rear fender. one tank. and more on the frame. The factory springer front fender was just painted to match. The bike's dusty from sitting. not being used. but cleans up nice. The fishtail and pipe have some black grime baked on. I had a deluxe solo seat on it for a little bit with the pogo. but took it off and sold it. The first speedo I had on it went bad at around 275 miles. and I replaced with the one that's on it now. I've had it around 17 years. I've had three knee replacements in the past 14 years so I just never rode much. Always stored in the house. Last run six months ago. Here's some video's of the bike if you want to check it out running. http://youtu. be/Z1edIbljfJIhttps://youtu. be/iOKU3MJIESoThe bike is sold as is. Contact if you have questions.
