1926 Indian Prince 350cc Single.

ENGINE NUMBER # AL 2487GEAR BOX # 25 E 5 FSOUTSIDE GEAR BOX ON CASING # 6BOSCH MAGNETO NO: FJ1RR32
This recently found rare 1926 Indian Prince barn find project was found in the Outback of Australia. It is in exactly as is found condition. The following is what I know:All original 1926girderforks and frame. thegirderforks look to be in pristine straight condition with no damage or repairs and not rusted and pitted. the frame appears to be in perfect straightconditionwith no damage. There is a factory stamped number 2 on the left hand side of the frame neck and i do not know what this number 2 means or stands for. Also the rear swing arm appears to be perfectly straight with no damage, ust, r pitted. all bolt holes appear to be original sizing and not damaged or over sized. 1926 front and rear wheels. Numbers match 1926 350 single engine. Has original engine mounting plates in excellent condition. The original bosch magneto looks to berefurbishedcorrectly at some point. Original 1926 matching gear box missing the internal components. Has original back hub and sprocket and brakes. Looks to have a new tire installed. Looks to have correct messenger seat . Gas tank looks to be in extremely good condition. Does not have the original 1926 handlebars but does have original style 1918 boardtrack racer handlebars.
What appears to be missing:Footpegs. Gear shift lever.Gearboxcomponents. Oil pump for gas tank. Brake lever.Carburetor. Chain guard. Kick lever. Front and rear fenders. And other miscellaneous items.
This particular model Indian was not common in the US and mainly sold in Australia and England. This bike has been an Australian delivered motorcycle its entire life. This bike was produced mainly for the export market only. 1926 was the first year for the overhead conversion option for this particular model Indian. These Indian Prince models are now extremely hard to find in complete condition because they were a lesser sold model Indian. This would barn find Indian would also make a great boardtrack racer or it would be a nice addition to your Indian collection. The bike is being sold with no reserve.
The bike comes with a clear bill of sale and a Queensland Government declaration of proof of origin-acquisitionpaperwork.
