Honda XL250 XL250R Enduro Dirt Bike

1982 Honda XL250R. Nice. presentable bike. Runs very good. COMES WITH BILL OF SALE ONLY FROM PREVIOUS OWNER. EBAY DOES NOT HAVE AN OPTION FOR NO TITLE. ONLY SALVAGE. WHICH IS WHY I AM EXPLAINING THAT THERE IS NO TITLE. BILL OF SALE ONLY. I purchased this bike from a retired police officer here locally. It was a father/son project. I was told that he installed new rings and redid the valves and new clutch. Could be true. because I do see new gaskets in place. Pumper carb works very good. Bike starts right up. no trouble. Pulls strong. I have a few extra parts that come with the bike. such as left switch control. kill button. and decompression cable. Bike functions as it should. however. the lights are not hooked to the wiring harness. Wiring harness is stock and looks to be mostly there. from what I can tell. Headlight with fairing is new. Tail light is used. and is missing the bulb and holder. so the lights will have to be sorted out. As you can see. there are enough aftermarket parts on this bike to give it a very nice look. Looks like it was a frame up restoration. I also like the Malcolm Smith seat. Haven't seen one of those in years. Keep in mind. obviously. there was some money spent on the bike. But. to the Honda collector/purist. this bike would be considered a project. because it would need some stock part replacements to be how it was when new. Right now. it catches the eye of the person looking for a very clean. presentable bike with get-up-and-go to enjoy in the dirt. and . . . . . . it's a Honda.
