You're bidding on a really nice 1972 CB500 with very low original mileage (7497). This bike is turn key, eady for a long ride. It is non-opped so there is no back registration fees due. The title is a salvage title only because it was in a minor accident that bent the handlebars, urn signals & put a dent in the tank. The bike was bought back from the insurance company and all repairs were made except the dent in the tank. The frame &forks are perfectly straight. It tracks as straight as an arrow. Tires & brakes are in great shape, he only other fault the bike is a small oil leak at the head gasket. The bike is serviced & ready to ride. The engine starts up very quickly when cold, arms up fast & runs great. Everything works from turn signals to horn, ll lighting & electric starter. This bike is really a pleasure to ride. The pipes are original and so is the seat. The front fender has a very small dent but the rear fender is perfectly straight with nice chrome including the taillight. The engine really runs beautifully withno hesitation or misfiring or any noises that shouldn't be there. The transmission & clutchis pin perfect, hifts like a brand new machine. The instruments work great but does have some spider webbing due to sitting in the sun but can be restored to new condition without spending much. Theoriginal frame paint is near perfect, t hasnot been touched up with a rattle can, t is original. Bottom line is this is a great condition survivor & almost every part is original & with extremely low mileage. The last thing I'll say is the fuel tank has just a few stains inside, o rust & has not been coated with any of that crème crap that will eventually flake off & cause many carb problems. The carbs are synchronized, he bike is just ready to ride immediately & you can fix the few cosmetic things as you have the time. Someone is going to get a terrific bike. You are welcome to call with any questions & I will gladly answer all questions. Thank you for looking.
