This 1971 Honda CT70 has been fully restored and is absolutely beautiful. The bike was completely disassembled and repainted in its original Candy Gold color. The 3-speed semi-automatic engine originally came with the bike and was also disassembled and rebuilt. Frame: Completely disassembled. media blasted. primed and repainted in its original Honda Candy Gold color by Mike Richard at Mike's MiniTrail Restorations. Brand new Honda decals and side badges were applied. New OEM chrome strip on frame top. Seat hinge. tank cover. foot pegs and kick stand were all powder coated gloss black. Battery box was media blasted and zinc plated. New CHP replica seat. Rechromed front and rear fenders. Handlebars and cables are high quality replicas from CHP. New OEM grips and rebuilt throttle assembly. Tail light is a CHP replica bracket with new OEM light and lenses. Foot brake assembly is new from CHP. The original Honda fasteners were rezinced and reused wherever possible. Suspension: Completely disassembled and worn parts replaced. Front shocks were rebuilt with new CHP forks and new OEM fork guides. boots and slides. The rear shocks are CHP replica shocks with the shock cans repainted to match the frame. Engine: Completely disassembled. cleaned and all parts checked. New cylinder. piston. rings. valves. rocker arms. rocker pivots. valve springs. exhaust valve seal. timing chain. and cam tensioner roller. Stator assembly was completely rebuilt. Clutch was torn down. cleaned and rebuilt with new friction plates and heavy duty springs. Carburetor was rebuilt with new jets. seals. and hardware. Engine assembly comes complete with a brand new Honda muffler and heat shields. New chain and drive sprocket. The engine has been run through its first 20 miles since being rebuilt and runs like new. Wheels: Bead blasted and painted in Honda Cloud Silver. New sealed bearings. Bridgestone tires. tubes and valve stems. Polished backing plates and new brake shoes. Electrical: New sealed battery connected to original wiring harness and ignition switch. Brand new head light. tail light. and indicator bulbs. Brand new correct Honda headlight and headlight bucket. Title/Registration: Bike is titled and registered in California as a street legal motorcycle. Registration paid through August 2015.
