This is a no reserve auction. this motorcycle will sell to the highest bidder. This motorcycle is not for sale any other way but this auction. This is my motorcycle that I decided to sell. I have a clear Ohio title in my name for this motorcycle. The motorcycle is a 1974 Honda CL450 scrambler. vin 6000076 engine vin 6000070. I bought this honda from my brother years ago. I never rode it much as the miles show. It was just eye candy to me. I had the bike stored in a dry shop. I put it in my green house to take some good bright picture so you can see what your bidding on. Although the weather here in Ohio has been bad. I did get it out on a cold 15 degree day and rode the bike. First I replaced the fuel line with honda fuel line. new plugs. gas and battery. Started and rode nice. Kick start and the electric start works fine. As I went for my cold ride I toke note that all gauges worked fine. The turn signals worked fine. horn worked. lights high and low and tail worked. I know it was charging the battery because lights brighten off idle. The only thing I saw that did not work was the latch on the seat. it would not lock. The engine sounds great. no strange sounds at all. Shifts great. I was in and out of all 5 gears. Miles are very low. When my brother bought this years ago it had low miles. I believe these mile to be right. However one never knows the history on a motorcycle this age. The speedo works fine. other then the trip set nob is gone. Tires look like they are from 1974. should be replaced if you plan on riding it much. Fuel system is clean. inside tank and carb bowls. Under the seat there is a place that stores the owners manual. The manual is still in there and looks like its been there sense 1974. As you can see paint and chrome are in nice shape for a bike this age. There is a few small chip and scratchs. There are no dents. Seat has a hole in the left under side. The fork boots I had replaced with new honda boots a few years back. till like new. I think the date on the frame tag said made 8/73. I know this is one of the first made 74 models. The exhaust is in very nice shape. Hard to fine any lite rust even on the painted parts. I know the new owner will love this old Honda. The bike is just in great shape and run great as well. Thanks
