1984 Honda Interceptor VF 700 VF700 Barn Fresh!!

Up for auction is a 1984 Honda Interceptor 700. Its all there. I can imagine what this bike was like new in the showroom. This is one that all the kids dreamed about! State of the art for its time. I got it up in north jersey. it has been sitting for a very long time. Calipers aren't seized. it does roll. What you see is what you get. fairings are in good shape. ot cracked up. the battery side cover has a broken tab and is loose. Based on what I know and where the bike was . I dont think the engine is seized but I cant guarantee it because when I hooked a battery to it none of the lights came on so I couldnt turn it over. The gas tank is empty and inside is bad. it has to be relined for sure. This project is not for the faint of heart and if you have never worked on a motorcycle I suggest choosing a different bike to learn how to work on. Its going to need a lot more than a "carb cleaning" to get it running again. That being said it is a complete 1984 interceptor with full fairings which you almost never see.
