HONDA INTERCEPTOR 1984-84 1/2 1984 V FOUR 1000cc 28. 04 MILES NO TITLE THIS BIKE IS IN GREAT SHAPE FOR THE YEAR this is a great barn find the owner had it for many years and he got it from his friend he has lost touch with him and never got the title from him. the motor was completely rebuilt through crystal lake Honda back when it had 18k on the odometer. I was told there were only 1600 of these bikes released in the usa and they had to come in the country through Canada because of the power they had at the time. this bike sat because his wife was afraid something would happen to him after he found out he had heart trouble. it was stored properly with gas drained and was in a heated garage all we did was add gas put a battery in it and turned the key . to our surprise it started right up. there was a little bit of mouse nest that blew out the exhaust but it ran just fine IT RUNS DRIVES SHIFTS SMOOTHLY AND IS VERY FAST LIGHTS HORN TURN SIGNALS WORK WELL SINCE WE DID NOT HAVE A KEY WE HAD A LOCKSMITH COME OUT AND CUT ONE FOR US AND HE DID SOMETHING TO THE CYLINDER IT WORKS WELL BUT IS NOT IN ORIGINAL CONDTION THE KEY HAS TO BE WIGGLED A LITTLE IT WILL NEED REAR BRAKE JOB FRONTS ARE OK SEAT HAS LITTLE TEAR MARKS RIGHT OPPOSITE OF EACH OTHER BY THE 1000 MIRRORS ARE NOT BROKEN PLASTIC FAIRING LOOKs GOOD FOR THE YEAR HAS F1R EXHAUST AND MUFFLER I THINK IT IS YOSHIMURA we do have the original mufflers in good shape THIS IS A GREAT BIKE FOR AN INTERCEPTOR COLLECTOR OR A GREAT CONVERSATION PIECE WILL NOT NEED MUCH TO GET BACK IN TIP TOP SHAPE IT RUNS nice NOW I seen one of these mid summer as a barn find not running sold for 5000. 00 I think this would be a great investment piece. this is for sale locally and you are weldcome to come take a look and take it for a ride to check it out. i also do have the rear seat cowl to make this a 1 seater in very good shape will be on here for sale once the bike sells unless the buyer wants it then we will try to make a deal WE TRY TO PROVIDE AS MUCH INFORMATION AS POSSIBLE TO HELP YOU IN YOUR SEARCH PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICTURES VERY CAREFULLYthis bike is for sale locally for 3500. 00 or best offer HAVE ANY QUESTIONS EMAIL OR CALL ME 815-943-1200BUYER PICKUP ONLY OR CALL US FOR OTHER DETAILSSHIPPING AVAILABLE.
