Up for sale is a 2004 Husqvarna TE250. This bike has very low hours on it. I have owned it for the last 3 years and purchased it form the gentleman that bought it new. This guy bought it for his kids to ride in there New Jersey development, owever, is kids had not interest in riding the bike and it sat beside his Corvette in his climate controlled garage. When I bought the bike the carb. was gummed up and wouldn't run. I was informed by a local Husqvarna dealer here in PA that the carb. installed on these bikes from the factory was known to have some jetting issues. They also at that time told me that Hall's Cycles in Illinois had a race team and had several repairs for this carb. Since the carb was needing to be cleaned I figured I would ship it to them so the repairs could be made to the carb. Among further conversation with hall's they also said the valves that came on the bike in 2004 were titanium and didn't hold up as long as the 2005-2007 models which were stainless steel. They recreate the valves with proper springs for the 2003-2004 engine in stainless steel which would be a great add on as well. So I went ahead and did that. So needless to say the drive train in this bike is bulletproof. After all that was done to the bike I was not a fan of the original Yellow and Blue plastic kit and graphics that came on the bike. I contacted Cemoto US and bought all white 2005-2007 plastics, Black IMS 3.9gal Tank and a Factory 2005-2007 Seat pan with Guts Red Gripper Cover and Soft Factory Height Seat Foam. It is hard to see in the picture but the seat has a small tear in it and has for a long time happened during install and I was not real concerned with it as it is very hard to see. I then purchased a full graphics kit from Decal Works which really makes the bike stand out! The bike has a set of newer Michelin AC10s which have about 100 miles on them. Before that the bike had FACTORY tires still on it. The bike does have a set of Renthal handle bars Reed/Windham Bend Renthal Grips and Moose Contour Hand Guards. The bike also has a TM designworks Chain Guide in Red. The bike was not a factory MC titled bike but it has gone through the PA Modified title process and is a PA Street Legal Bike. I have since removed the signals and horn for dirt riding but the brake light and headlights still function as they should. The Bike has a Flatland skid plate, oose radiator Guards and Moose Rear Brake Guard. The bike came with the factory enduro kit in the box and the factory kit starter kit. I installed the enduro kit but still have the kick starter kit new in the box. The odometer didn't work when I bought the bike as it uses a watch battery to power it and it was dead. I recently got it working again but the odometer only shows 3 miles. The bike however probably has 500 miles on it and it shows. It is in great shape you will not be disappointed. The bike is a great bike and super reliable. I am sad to see it go but am moving some bikes I have out of the stables to make room for a new one.
